Contraceptive Implants
The contraceptive implant is a thin, flexible 40mm long rod that's inserted under the skin of your upper arm.
You must first discuss with GP or Advanced Nurse Practitioner who will issue a prescription prior to booking a clinic appointment for insertion. Implants can be fitted by Dr Jones, Dr Pirie or Carole Young, Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
