Steroid Joint Injection

Steroid injections, also called corticosteroid injections, are anti-inflammatory medicines used to treat a range of conditions.

There should be a 6-week period between injections and no more than 3 injections per year in the same site are recommended.

Steroid injection appointments are offered by the following GPs:
Dr Sheil - all sites
Dr Pirie - shoulders, elbows and knees
