Results of Tests

After the practice has sent a sample/some samples to the laboratory on your behalf for testing the practice will receive a report detailing the results.  This report will be examined by a GP who will annotate the report with a message for you, e.g. that the result is normal.

If any action is required then we will make contact with you, but we still recommend that you make contact with us to check the results of any tests carried out.

To obtain the results of these tests please telephone the practice between 10am-5pm Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday or 10am-1pm on a Wednesday, 5 to 10 working days after the sample was sent to the laboratory.

Please note that if you are over the age of 12 we will only inform you of the results, so please do not ask anyone else to phone on your behalf unless you have already provided your written consent for us to speak to someone else regarding your results.
